Fuel Line Flares
I guess after years of replacing in-line fuel filters and over-tightening the fittings, the double flares start looking like single flares and no longer provide a good seal. Anybody know if there's a readily available fix for that? I was looking at Lars fuel line sheet (can he write a paper or what!) and he mentioned the use of "DelSeal" (soft aluminum insert) for single flares. Think this would work for a smushed double flare? Can these be had at NAPA or other chains?

Uh, never mind. Finally decided that the time I've already spent looking for that fancy seal could have been better used to make a new line. Don't ask me how many times I had to test fit it to get it right. Couln't follow the old line since someone decided that the way to get the filter vertical was to bubba buckle the bottom of it! :smash:
