what kinda heads do i have
they are a set of 400 cast iron heads and they have the numbers 1-053 and then in another spot they have a big W who makes these heads or does any one know of a web site that could tell me what kind they are thanks

i'm confused. if you know they're 400 heads, what are you asking?
anyway, if they're SBC heads, there is a site that lists a bunch of this info. i don't remember it exactly but it's something like 'nastyZ28'. you could do a search and come up with it. from what you described though, i'm not sure they're even chevy heads.

If they're GM, they'll have a 5 or 6 digit number with a 4 digit date code near them.......have a look again for more numbers.....you'll have to take the valve covers off to find these numbers........

ya i worded that pretty crappy. i know they are 400ci heads but i was wondering what brand heads they were. im pretty sure there not gm. im guessing the w stands for world products heads
