Default 73 Fusable link

Does anyone know what value the fusable link under the hood is that the headlight circuit is on? I need to replace it due to a wire in the dash that got eaten through by the dash support.

Thanks

If you look at the wiring schematic it will tell you exactly - they are labeled THERM0(??). I just went thru this with my '75. I don't have the thing handy right now but I believe they are 4 sizes smaller (larger #) then the wire it's protecting. Ex: a 16g wire would require a 20g link so it burns out before the actual wire.

Looks like it's a #16. Comes off the junction block as a #16, then feeds power to the headlight switch on a #12 red wire.

No big deal. Any piece of multi-stranded (the more strands the better) in in the right gauge will do. NAPA carries them as just a small length of wire also.
