Re: Check out the cool new video by Scott (c3sharktank)! (vettedan)
Thanks Dan! Much of the credit for making the movie possible should go to Dan, he rushed me the prototype camera mount he's been working on....much better than the old design I think.
I've got about 2/3 of the movie done, what I need now is to find some music for about 7 minutes - 23 seconds where some dope is blabbing over the speaker. The movie that is up will change soon to include clips from each segment....then the whole thing will be put onto a DVD along with 115 pictures of some very nice Corvettes.

Re: Check out the cool new video by Scott (74 vert)
Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it. I had a blast making this so here's another teaser, the menu from the DVD I just burned. It has 3.94GB of Corvettes; 1-full length movie which is 25 minutes-39 seconds, Highway Driving which is 8 minutes-33 seconds, Cruise into Old Town which is 4 minutes-56 seconds, and the exit Parade which is 12 minutes-09 seconds and was 119 Corvettes long....yes I counted. It also has 2 slide shows totalling 115 sweet looking Corvettes. If there's enough interest I might sell some copies.
Can you guess the owner of the car?
I'll have teasers of each section up tomorrow evening in the "Theater" section.
Oh ya, I watched the movie on my TV with 6 speakers in the room, it was awesome! :D

Great video, I've got about 25 minutes of VHS I want to burn to DVD. Is it a major hassle? It's going 125+ on a NASCAR track and the sound is deafening. :smash:

Re: Check out the cool new video by Scott (Budman78)
Budman78- I'm not sure how you would get VHS tape to your computer but if you can record it back into your video camera or computer then the rest isn't hard at all. If you can get it onto a miniDV tape I'll put it onto a DVD for you. Just to give you an idea of what 25 minutes would be, I have a 25 minute digital video file on my hard drive now, it's 5.15GB in size. You'll need a computer that can handle that as well as enough RAM for the program you use to be able to edit it. The DVD I just made was made up of 23mb of pictures and 10.31GB of video, it compressed onto a DVD at 3.94GB. It took about 30-45 minutes for the DVD to burn, not exactly sure of the time as I just went and had lunch while it was burning.

OK, seems there's about 10 people that want a copy of the DVD. To make this easier for me to remember, email me your mailing info and as I get them burned I'll send you off a copy. When you get it you can send me a couple bucks, no more than 10. I made the same offer on another forum and it seemed everyone thought that was good. If you get the DVD and think it sucks, send it back and I'll give your money back.
Remember, this wasn't done in Hollywood but it's not bad for some goober with a video camera and computer :jester
