Rear Diff. question

Rear Diff. question
I'm taking apart my differential and cannot seem to get the side yolks out. I already removed the snap rings and took a flat head screw driver to get the splines straightened out, so whats the trick? Do I need a bigger hammer?

(any relation to the infamous Bubba??) just kidding!! Most likely your side yokes are mushroomed overat the ends and YES you need a bigger hammer and probably a new set of side yokes. ...redvetracr
