Default Build Sheet for a 1980

Anyone know where they might put the build sheet in my 1980? :smash:

It is on top of your gas tank.

:iagree: Thats were I found the build sheet on the 80 that I parted out. If you are lucky it will still be readable.

In most cases the fuel tank will need to come out to remove the sheet without destroying it.....

Mine was glued on the forward top section of the gas tank. It was very fragile and some of it was destroyed when I removed it. (Before attempting to remove the sheet I took extensive close-up pictures.)

Much of the sheet is legible, all the option codes, dealer, dates, etc. :)

Yep, I agree with all the above. Hope you find it. Still don't know why they decided to put it out there. Mine was VERY brittle. Be careful and take your time. As stated above, if you want it to be decent, best to take out the gas tank. :flag

On my 1980 it was on the top front of the fuel tank. It turned to dust as I breathed on it.
