Default Anybody Bought From Zip?

Zip seems to have everything I need for my winter jobs on my '70. I have never bought from Zip before and don't know anybody that has. Just wondering what anybody's experience with them was?

Bought most of my parts from Zip, however that was 2 years ago on my restoration. Not sure of their customer service now. :seeya

From my dealings and the posts here ... #1 vendor for all around parts I'd
say. Plus, you get the forum discount and the ZIP forum in here gives fast
access to specific questions before and after the sale.

My experiences with Zip have been just fine. But then I've bought from Zips, Mid-America, Corvette Central, Paragon, Ecklers and at least a couple others that I can't think of right now, and the only bad experience I had was a crappy off-shore part Ecklers sold me, but which they immediately made good on when I was unhappy with it. I kind of favor Paragon right at the moment--terrific & friendly customer service.

I've had no problems with zip and I've ordered quite a few parts. With the forum discount they usually are the best price too. :cheers:

Corvette Mall -> C1-C3 Restoration

Zip has been good to me, but I always check VB&P, TLD, Wilcox, MuskegonBrake, VolVet, MAD, Ecklers...

As an aside, VB&P really is good.

I've purchased TONS of stuff from ZIP. Order on Sunday, parts show up on Wednesday. Very rarely do they have to back order.

I order from em all the time matter of fact getting ready to give em another 1k for parts... Just if you're going to buy a lot of parts you can spend 2k at once and recieve 10% off that order and then 10% off any other order no price min for 1 year. Also if you don't go that route if you spend over 850.00 at a time they give you the 10% too. They have always been helpful. I stop in there time to time to pick up parts just so if I have a problem I can bitch at someone in person. I've never had to do it yet and I have been buying parts there for over a year. My pop has bought every part for his resto there also. Needless to say everyone I hang out with uses them. Here in NC and in VA. I order and get it next day with the ground service since I'm close by. Now they do sometimes have back orders but normally it's only been a couple of days... Hope this helps.. Dave..

Purchased many $$$ worth of parts from Zip, delivery time was terrific. I received the wrong caliper on a recent order and I had a replacement in less than 24 hours. I give them an A+. If I want original replacements for anything, I always check Dr. Rebuild. I get quality service and have never had any problems. I give them a B+ (Doc's got plenty of tude and he is always suing Zip)

They have lots of my money... and I've received mostly good stuff from them with fast shipping. There have been the ocassional crappy, no fit cheapo worthless pos parts, and they sent me a wrong gas tank which showed me how well they can dodge complaints, but other than that they're pretty much out there selling 'stuff' like most of the others. I happen to like Dr. Rebuild for general restoration parts. Paragon is pretty cool too. You'll sometimes order stuff from one source and end up having another sources label on it.... :lol:
