It was back in 2004 when I originally posted that link in this thread. They have since went out of business and now have opened back up again. The new site is. http://www.vanacorscorvette.com/

I bought a hood from them 2 weeks ago. They are about an hour away so once they had it ready I drove down and picked it up. Fits pretty good. I had to make some adjustments to my hinges.
There shop was closed when I got there. The mom and son showed up, opened the shop, brought out the hood, I tried it on my car in the parking lot to make sure it fit, then took off. It's my guess they don't have enough business to have the shop open full time. I believe the son has another job and does this as a sideline.
I did call them a couple of times while I while my hood was being made, left messages that they didn't return until the hood was ready.

Their quality is very good. I have one of their L88 hoods. I also had 2 Daytona hoods and a twin turbo hood in the past.
The Vanacor family squabble is a long one and it's not over.

Family members of 27-year-old Bryan Vanacor Jr., have begrudgingly become accustomed to such delays over the years. They say they wish prosecutors would be more forthright with them.
"There is no closure because there is no evidence to prove the boy did it," said Roddy Vanacor, whose nephew is accused of killing his brother. "And if there is some, they need to tell the family."
Vanacor has bounced among jails and mental hospitals since his November 2003 arrest for allegedly shooting his father, Bryan Vanacor Sr., in Des Allemands.

I just bought my L88 hi rise from them earlier this year. I dealt with Jackie and everything went really smooth. I drove 8hrs one way to pick it up, the quality was awesome.....Once I got home, I slapped it on and it took MINIMAL adjustments to get it right and only had to do minor clearance on the rear edge to allow it to clear the wiper door grate a little better.... I was VERY impressed with the quality and their service..... definitely the price...
