power windows won't work
I am new to the forum and would appreciate your guys help. I have a 78 vette and last week the windows stopped working while they were down. I checked the fuses under the dash and they were all fine. Is there a fuse somewhere else or anything else that could cause that problem. I'm stuck.

hmm my right window stopped working when it was down recently. I noticed the power windows switch was very loose. I'm thinking that's what mine is..I guess it's unlikely you would loose two switches at once.

Maybe check the power window circuit breaker??? Not sure about a 78,but on a 74 it's under the hood..... located on the drivers side firewall. Look for a small rectangular black box with 2 fairly heavy gauge wires going to it. If that's not the problem check the relay.

Zip products carries both the circuit breaker and relay. http://www.zip-corvette.com

Beware.......If one of the electrical connectors is bad or loose in one door, the other side won't work properly either. Gotta love GM!
