Not sure, but I think all Chevy 327 engines from 1968 and earlier had this tube on the intake. :chevy

There is a broken piece of inner fender hanging in front of the area.
I see the brake line/bracket that looks somewhat like a crack/hole - but not.

Oh, you are right, the frame is not broken... I got to get me a new monitor, this one is too dark. I'm now on my other system and it's clear here. Still, for those interested, it's the hoile you see here:
