NAHHH, I'll take my ~400 hp or so and r/pinion steering and wide tires down the road in overdrive anyday.....getting 24 mpg while doing so, with top down and smiling...getting a sunburn on my azz while the rest of you northern types just freeze your azzes off in the snow and cold, dreaming of summer which lasts 2-3 months/year......

I think it depends on the cost. Personally I would rather have the non-matching #s so I can modify it without being attacked by the NCRS crowd, and because it ought to be cheaper.

Tell me about it LOL. At least I finished the stainless dual exhaust under my truck so i can drive that again... I did start working on the frame, hope to make some good progress soon.

Schumucker how did the coil overs work. You quit posting for a while. Give us an update on the coilovers both front and rear.

I just really started looking at the L48 in my 72 project car because I was going to auction off the whole enchilada on a Ebay auction and now it looks like I'm going to keep it around. I can't believe the POS is numbers matching! Someone swapped on some 461 Camel-hump heads but, the ID pad VIN and code check for a auto L48! matching the window post VIN! Now I'm feeling guilty about the Richmond 5 speed swap for the TH400 auto. DARN!! :banghead:
You made a difficult guestion... I voted for SB, even though I'm not so keen on #'s matching at the moment. I think that to me the most important guestion in choosing between those two would be the overall shape. Ofcourse also the fact that what SB is in there, if LT-1 then there is no guestion which one I choose... :smash:
