There are a couple of variations of the units. They changed some time in 69. The early ones were a rounded guide pin and a white sheathed release cable. The next was a TEE PEE ot more pronounced taper along with a black sheathed release cable. Youcannot interchange any of the parts. My late Oct 69 car has the latter. Then they changed to a completely different set-up that is actually the reverse of the earlier style I think that change Came in 73.
