I have never used one but there was a member on here a while back that had a Predator on a BB. They are suppose to be great circle track carbs. They do look different.

There's so little info on these carb I don't which way is sideways to mount on a dual plane intake. But they are supposed to be a good match for a dual-plane intake when using a short duration cam (most street motors). Application for wide range of cfm flow and self tuning.
I would really like to try one but expensive new and can't tell if the used ones have the idle circuit for the street?

I had a buddy who ran one on a mid 12 sec '56 Chevy about 10-15 years ago. He absolutely swore by it and loved it.
Make sure to look for the one's with the accelerator pumps. The early ones didn't have one and starting was tough.
They are a pretty simple deal. The trick is to get the fuel curve correct. You can file and reshape the "cam" inside and if you screw up, you can epoxy it back up and start over. They used to offer several different cams to get you close depending on cam and engine combo, then you could fine tune it.
