CORVETTE HURST SHIFTER FIT IN A CAMARO??????
My freind is selling his camaro and it needs a transmission and shifter. I have a corvette transmission with a corvette hurst shifter and look alike shift handle and im just wondering if it will work.

What year Camaro? I have a 69 Camaro I believe the shifter will fit. The only difference is the handle, and the Camaro has more room than the Vette.

It was a 67, but i went and looked at it today and decided it was to much of a project car. Thanks anyway

Technically it will fit, but there are variables. If the Camaro has a console, they had a special Hurst shifter with an offset for the handle. In fact, I think the shifter in my '69 with no console was the same way. In any case, the handle from the Vette would be a little on the short side.
