Window Seals
A companion thread for the generic weatherstrip below: The felt/cat's whisker strips around my '68 windows is shot, and something needs to be done to keep water out of the inside of the door, to protects the glass from getting scratched, and to allow the windows to crank smoothly up and down without rattling around.
I removed and looked at the parts and they're very simple. The rubber lips are in good shape, just the felt strips and whisker strips that are bitten. Has anyone found some bulk stuff that could be used be used to freshen up the stock pieces? Otherwise it's $200 to fix both pieces on both doors, when all I need is $2.00 worth of felt.

I bought my fuzzies from Chicago Corvette. Corvette Central and just about all the Corvette parts places carry them. You mention your rubber strip is in good shape but anyone also owning a '68 that is looking for the rubber strips can get them from Corvette Rubber Co.
