Re: Ordered a 200R from Bow Tie today (AlwaysWave)
put mine in a couple of months ago...be careful with the throttle cable kit...if I remember correctly...tranny throw 1.25in, EFI throw 1.75in...caused horrible problems, and I had the kit matched to tranny and EFI!
Also, if you install the tranny without the dipstick/filler tube in place (I found it easier that way) then temp. fit the tube to the tranny prior to installation & make sure that the mounting hole in the tab/bracket on the tube lines up with the bolt hole in the tranny case. Finding out that it doesn't after the tranny is installed can lead to a real pig of a job Apart from that, installation is easy. Good luck!
Re: Ordered a 200R from Bow Tie today (AlwaysWave)
Can't wait to hear the results as soon as the tranny is installed...
I'm very likely getting the 200R4 myself.. However- I can't buy mine from Bowtie overdrives because they only rate their 200R4's up to 450HP/450ft/lbs of torque...
I'm going to get mine very likely from CPT (California Performance Transmission).. They build them to withstand 800 HP...

CPT is just down the street from where I work, so if you need someone to check in here and there
But I also thought BTO makes theirs to up to 1000hp?
