Cleaning, prepping, polishing and in disassembly of this interior! What started out to be a carpet job is now a complete interior, as of the removal of the complete dash left to right! I WANNA DRIVE MY CAR! WAHHHHHHHH No, I don't want cheese w/my whine!

Just called the upholstery shop. Champagne leather is going on the seats as we speak ... er ...ahhh type. New foam padding too with lumbar support for a change!

I took home a swatch of the leather yesterday to compare it with the new carpet .... looks GREAT!
  • all new dash lights
  • new tach
  • new vacuum controls for A/C
  • carpeting with Reflectix
  • RustProofing!
  • New A/C and heater seals
  • What's not going to be replaced will be painted or polished
  • Whhoooooo HOOOOOO!

I'm anxious as heck but it's gonna be soooooo worth it!

Yeah Paul and you thought it was a weekend job. Sounds like you went off the deep end. you thought I was detail oriented.

Rule one....never start a "Little project" in the summer time. Save those for the winter time...that way when your pulling the body off the frame "cause ya might as well(insert one of a million things here) while you have the (insert another one of a million things here) off". Of wait your in San Daigo...you don't have winters there....In that case quit your whinning...us "Yankees" have to deal with not driving ours for months at a time.

Its always worth it to fix it right. Take the time to fix it better than stock. Bubba fixes are what will leave your shark at the side of the road. I'm much happier with my corvette just sitting in my garage than behind a tow truck.
