Fouled spark plugs

I have ideas but none that you'll like. Did the problem just start or has it been this way for a while? Is it on all plugs? Is it wet oil or soot?
If it is dry looking soot and just happened on all plugs, you're probably running rich. This is the easiest to fix. If it's actually oil, my guess would be worn rings.
My guess at least. Good luck.

If they're wet with oil get a leak down and compression test ASAP. Fouling that soon with oil would show a nice blue gray cloud driving.
If black soot check carb settings and jet sizes, did you install a new carb recently?

82 CF: I'm assuming it's running rich, at least I hope so. I've been
having trouble with it idling.
. I'll problably start with a compression test. Go from
there.
It has 99900 miles.

Here's a thought. Does it start ok and then idle poorly after around 30 seconds? If so, try pulling off the air cleaner cover and look to see if you're flooding. This might explain both problems.
