Default Seats & other stuff

Thanks for all the responses to my previous post - great links & info.

So I'm still shopping, but just curious - I know that modern car seats are nicer / more supportive than old ones - - does anyone have an aftermaket seat they REALLY like that goes into a C3 vette - - or are the C3 seats great to begin with?

Also - is it a safe bet that all the problems I had with my '68 Nova to be present in a '68/'69 vette (my motor mounts, starter/alt, freeze plugs ALL needed to be dealt with by 80K!)

thx!

I bought a kit to renew my original C3 seats, including the foam and brand new leather.
It was beautiful when done and works great!

Can't be happier!

All those other things will have to be replaced at some point, yes.

These are pretty much the only seats that I found that will fit, they are shaved down and have really low profile brackets, they are from Speed Direct.
