Gas Gauge

I need help with my gas gauge. When I put on the brakes the gauge goes to full when it is on empty. Also when I turn the turn signals on it pulses. Any help would be appriciated.

I would suspect a bad ground. Check the wiring on it first before doing anything major. There is a ground wire off the sending unit that I have seen go bad.

i agree, start to find every ground connection in the back of your car and take them apart and sand/file the area and reassemble. any time funny electrical things happen you can suspect a ground issue. its more prevalent in our cars because the body is fiberglass.

My gas gauge currently "bounces" when it's not pegged full or empty (I often see both

) I suspect a bad ground but haven't gotten to it yet.
