All my experience with them and quality of products purchased has been excellent. Once they even called me after I placed an online order to verify I had the correct part for my year model---they wanted to be sure the part would fit.--Patrick
I am Glad to see you back on ther forum after the hurricanes. TLD is excellent for price, speed of delivery, and most all customer service. They will even call you if there are any questions or pat of the order is not in stock. They have a set up at the NCRS show here in January.

I agree with Mark. I bought my wiring harnesses from them. Every time I go to Corvette Expo they are the first guys I go to see if I have parts that I am looking for. I usually try to deal with James. He has a 70 convertible also.
Great Company
I just ordered a rear e-brake cable and 4 Mickey Mouse clips. They call and asked if I really wanted the clips because 4 were already in the bag with the cable. I know its not much but they could have sent all it and charged me for stuff I didn't need.
Very good! I ordered mats from them and they called to tell me that my car has cut pile carpet and I ordered the loop type and they thought it would match better with the cut pile.
There was no difference in price, do think anyone else would have bothered to do that?

I would prefer to only do business with The Last Detail. Probably the best customer service I have ever recieved. They have even gone so far as to not sell me a repro part because they said it fit like poo and they were going to quit carrying the part because of this.
Also, even the smallest question about how to assemble a part is going to be answered, no matter how long it takes to research the assembly. They have called me back after a couple of hours to tell me how something was supposed to go together and what parts I needed to make it happen.
I feel so bad that I cannot remember the name of the person that I dealt with there, but he was/is the reason that I will always do business with them.

I've had what I would call mixed experience with them. I got two outside door handles from them which were manufactured by Trim Parts. One was excellent, one was defective- had pits on the flapper. When I returned the defective one, I asked them to inspect the replacement before shipping. They willingly sent a replacement but it was defective too- different defect. Then they told me it was their policy to not replace again but they would refund the price. When I sent them the part, they did replace it but sent a note saying this one was nonreturnable. So I figure, why would they say that. If they can't supply parts in good condition, they should either get out of the business or improve their or their suppliers' QC so the quality is up to snuff. It so happens that the second replacement was acceptable but this policy of theirs leaves me with a question of how committed they are to customer satisfaction.
