Sounds like you have a bad switch somewhere...that is grounding..there is a hood switch..around the wiper area, there are the t top switches..the door jamb switches..and a starter interupt(sp) switch...check them all out and make sure they are all functioning correctly. Would be nice to have the stock system working on the vette..mine does. Saved my (_!_) a couple of times! Is the horn on constantly or is it the intermittant honk..honk..honk..honk?? Joe!

sure...unpluging things until you narrow the search is a geat way of trouble shooting
