I'm getting my carpet out of the 68, but it is a pain in the rump getting all the fuzz off of the glue patches. Any easy way to get the leftovers up? A solvent would be nice, but I don't want to damage the floor pans (anymore) Thanks!
Wire wheel and drill. Wear hearing protection and safety glasses. It beats solvent and scrapers hands down. I tried all three... Solvent was a friggin' mess and gave me headaches. I tried several scrapers and gave up. Too much effort... I settled on a "cup" brush with steel bristles from DeWalt. I chucked it up in my drill and went to town. Used the whole brush up, practically. I threw it away when I was done...and I don't throw away tools.
FYI-Dont' linger on the ridges or you'll burn right through!

I thought the strands would get caught up in it. I used sandpaper for a bit, but before I got anywhere, the paper was useless, and I still had glued down fuzz....just goes to show you can't escape the fuzz
