FS: 1969 Stingray
1969 stingray coupe, maroon w/black interior.

forged steel 4.25” stroke crank, 6.3875” H-beam
Eagle rods, JE/SRP 10.75 to 1 forged pistons (bored
and honed w/torque plate) Melling hi-volume oil
pump, Milodon 8 qt oil pan, Comp Cams
hydraulic roller cam/lifters (252 dur @ 0,050” w/
0.612” lift), Comp Cams Pro Magnum chrome-moly
roller rockers w/ Hi-Tech push rods, Cloyes gear
drive timing set, Cloyes cast aluminum timing cover
w/integral external adjustable roller timing button,
Edlebrock performer RPM Air Gap intake Manifold
and aluminum heads,
Holley HP 1000cfm carb, NOS nitrous sportsman
fogger system (165hp pellets), Moroso cast aluminum
valve covers, Hi-torque ball bearing gear drive
starter, MSD pro-billet tach drive distributor, Monster
Tach, MSD 6AL ignition and coil, MSD digital timing
retard and window switch (for the Nitrous), Fluid
Damper harmonic balancer, Cast aluminum pullies,
100 amp custom alternator. 2” primary HPC coated
headers w/Stage 8 locking header bolts, 3” dual
exhaust through 3” 2 chamber Flowmasters. Barry
Grant electric fuel system.
NOTE: The engine runs real strong although it has
a PIA rear main seal leak..
(typical w/2 piece seal motors)
Drive: Richmond custom 6spd w/ road race 6th gear,
McLeod dual dick clutch w/aluminum flywheel.
Lakewood Blowproof steel bellhousing, Custom drive
and half shafts w/chrome moly u-joints, custom
differential w/ “Johns” larger diameter cross-shaft and
spider gears (makes a much stronger rear end, you’ll
need it!), 8 x 15 repro rally wheels w/ stainless rings
and chrome centers (duplicates OEM) 275/50/15 BFG
drag radials in the rear. Longs Heim Joint shifter
Cooling: Be-Cool aluminum radiator, Spal twin electric race
fans, Moroso aluminum water pump. (will maintain
180deg in 100 deg weather!)
Int/ext: The car was redone, repainted and reupholstered
about 7 years ago. It has the customary dings and
drag radial quarter panel “sand blasting”. This is not
a show car, per say, just a weekend hot rod
(although I drive it to work now and then). It did not
have a frame-off restoration although there’s no
visible frame rust. The paint, 2 stage polyurethane,
is still good. It probably could use another
paint job, depending how critical you are.
Pictures are available upon request.. You don’t want to know how much I have invested.
$16,500….
