Default 1979 All Original Black/Black 30K Miles

1979 Corvette 350 L48 Automatic
ALL ORIGINAL (right down to the 8-track Stereo - which works!)
30,275 miles
Black exterior / Black leather interior
Power steering, power brakes
Glass T-Tops are perfect (no leaks)

Body & Paint:
Extremely shiny (a few very minor stone chips near the nose/headlight area). Body is near perfect. No door dings, scratches, etc. If anything, you would need to examine it at a very close distance (1 ft.) to find a blemish.

Mechanical Summary:
Engine runs smooth
Brakes are good, exhaust is good, tires are good with alot of tread left.
The A/C does not blow cold air. May need to be recharged, or converted.

Interior issues:
Has about a 3-inch tear in the leather (lower left side of driver's seat)
Has about a 2-inch tear in carpet (underneath floor mat driver's side)
Climate control plate has detached on the right side leaving a 1/4 inch gap (meaning it is not laying flush with surrounding plate)
Has a crack in plastic headliner (above windshield)
Clock does not work
Speedometer works, but produces a winding sound on occasion. I've been told it could be a spring.
Horn is moody (sometimes it works, but you have to press down at just the right spot for it to sound off)

Summary:
This is a well preserved ORIGINAL '79 Vette. It has never been modified and has been garage stored. Driven very little for the past 15 years (I've owned it since 1990) This is the main reason for selling, as I hardly drive it and could use the garage space for a new truck.

The NADA website lists an average price for this car as $13,105

The Manheim Gold Classic Cars online guide lists cars primarily based on thier condition. I would rate it's condition somewhere between Good and Excellent which puts the price on their guide at $13,500

I'm asking $13,500. Located in OHIO, between Akron & Cleveland. I have alot of pics and can send them - just can't post them.... e-mail me with any questions or requests.
