1979 Corvette For Sale Texas Car
I bought a ’79 to restore for my girlfriend but don’t have the time or money to do this one and my ’81. Engine has been replaced but I don’t know anything about it. Previous owner claimed it was out of a mid 80's Camaro but I can't verify that. I drive it into my shop where it’s parked but it hasn’t been started in a couple of years. Tranny leaks but seems to shift fine. Car will need paint and interior but no significant body work. I had it on a lift before I bought it and couldn’t find any serious rust or signs that it had been wrecked. Other than a test drive and driving it into the shop, I haven’t driven this car so can’t answer a lot of questions about performance, etc. This would make a great project. Rally wheels with nearly new tires. I have many extra parts that can go with the car if the price is right – mirror T-tops, headers, a rebuilt TH350 with TransGo shift kit and more. $3750 for the car and I’ll work with buyer on prices of extras. Thanks for all the inquires. Car sold locally and will be a father-son project. That got 'em a great deal on the car and extra parts. I have a helluva soft spot in my heart for fathers and sons who share the Corvette passion.
