I am looking at buying a 78 Limited Edition pace car V.I.N.#1Z87L8S901430.I have not seen this car, only pictures.
I have been told by the owner that the car has only 7000 miles on it and is in great condition. She also said that the power antenna will not come up,and the air is not cold.
What is a reasonable price to expect to have to give for this car?

Without knowing more history on the car, and depending on how its been stored, I'd guess around $20,000. Good luck, I love 78 pacers!

i have recently purchased one with 43000 miles on it, and the air conditioner is the same way, i would question the 7000 miles, ask for proof, ask to have the supension checked too, see if it's starting to pull away from the frame,

Hi, I purchased a 78 Pace Car in Nashville TN in October of 2000 with 61,000 ,miles on it and the AC was bad also. Since then I replaced the fuel pump and went to a Holley 650 Carb> I have kept all of the parts. I paid just over $11,000.for the car and felt like that was a fair price.
