Beautiful 72 coupe for sale or trade! (Madison, WI)
I have a 72 L-48 coupe with the entire numbers matching driveline in good condition for sale. The car runs and drives very nicely, has power steering, power windows, 4-speed, tilt wheel, brand new carpet, brand new Kenwood cd player and Infinity speakers, brand new L-88 hood and new paint as of summer 2006. The car also has full exhaust - long tube headers, true duals, and Dynomax Super Turbos - as well as an Edelbrock intake, Holley 670 Street Avenger, and Mallory distributor with electronic ignition swap. I also just laid down a ton of Damplifier Pro sound insulation and Reflectix heat insulation under the carpet, which helped out a lot with the noise level inside the car, plus new seatbelts. Also on the engine are some nice Edelbrock valve covers and a K&N intake. Asking $17,500 (negotiable!). Overall, the car is in very good shape, and the frame and birdcage are in perfect condition - absolutely no rust! The interior is in good condition, though the seats are a bit worn, and the e-brake console has a few cracks in it. The car has been taken very good care of - never beaten on or raced.
Thank you for your interest!

I would also be very interested in a trade for an M6 C5 (especially FRC) - I would add some cash as well.
Thank you for your interest!

I'm interested. I don't know all of the engine codes yet, what is an L-48? Is it the original motor? Do you have any more pics?
Thanks...Ken

The L-48 is just the base 350 rated at 200hp. With the mods, it's probably sitting around 240hp. It is indeed the numbers-matching original motor, as are the tranny and rear end.
I'd be more than happy to send you some more pics. I'll e-mail you when I get back home tonight. Thanks for your interest!

Thanks mate - your car is (was) absolutely gorgeous.
I saw your WTB thread...no interest in my car? It seemed to meet your requirements well, and you could always sell off the L-48 to the right buyer
sting66cp, I just sent out that e-mail. I apologize for it being so late, I didn't get back to my computer until just 15 minutes ago.

Thanks for the compliment though!
My original plans had called for modifying the car more extensively and I needed the extra clearance, but a variety of factors (primarily lack of disposable income as a college student and the need for a car I can drive year-round) have made me rethink my decision, so I'm selling
