I have owned a bunch of 68-82 cars, and I believe that I enjoyed the 70 models the most. There was a lot of unique stuff on them and the production was ultra low compared to other years in that group.

'69 is appealing because of its simplicity , no kickup flares on wheel wells, gills are simple, round lights in front, only C3 with side pipes, last of 427's, last of tripowers, last of L88's,and finally the ZL1,this was an incredible year ,one cannot ignore these facts, but all C3's have the basic inherent shape that attract all of us to them

I'll vote for the 77, I'm especailly fond of mine, the one with the hole in the hood.
I just could'nt get it to close with those carb's sticking up....
12.9 @ 108 , it dos'nt take me too long to get to work in this one :nono:

I think anything 74 or older is a good choice for performance oriented people because of the lack of emissions required. Also for the people that like the bumpers of the later C3's, the 74 is an easy car to update to look like the later models without requiring converters :) . As time goes on and emission laws get tougher, these cars may become more valuable for these reasons.

The seats and emblems are diffrent. 79 and 78 pace seats are the same style, and 77 and 79 emblems are the same. and im not sure but the exaust may have changed in 79.

Re: Take the POLL:
My opinion is ANY year with chrome bumpers. I just can't enjoy a rod unless it has chrome bumpers for some reason. Although the 67 and 69 are my 2 favorite years for the vette.
