68 L-79 Vert for sale
Car sold!
Been on the C3 forum for years but it's time for a new Vette (C5 vert) due to all the deployment time away from my family. Looking for a wash/ wax only car (daily driver with 20mpg +).
Bought the 68 in Oct 2003. All matching numbers 68 L-79, 327/350hp, M-21 close ratio, 370 rear. PB/ PS, auxiliary hardtop.
Invested another 8K since purchase and have all receipts plus word document attached below showing all parts installed or repaired. Car runs real extremely strong. Tuned by LARS. No leaks anywhere. Demon 750 with elec. choke and pertronics ignition starts first time every time. Never overheats and have no worries about driving car cross country. 2 week old power brakes conversion done by Top Flight Corvette. Power steering 1yr old. Exhaust/ ceramic headers 10-months old. All lights, dash, wiper door, headlight doors. etc works perfectly. List below shows everything that had problems was replaced. Needs absolutely nothing. Paint is a 10' with several scratches but shiny enough not to warrant paint for a few years. Won 2nd place Main Street America, San Diego July 05 out of 20 plus C3's entered. Exceptionally clean.
Car had some surface frame rust, ground everything down to bare and POR-15 entire frame/ suspension. Looks brand new underneath Car was in front end accident back in the 70's. Original front clip repaired and professionally done, zero issues. I think I have clearly covered all basis. ASKING 25K OBO. Come to the club meeting next friday night and announce the car for sale. Lots of guys in that club have money and you may find a C5 for sale, too.

Dave, nice looking 68 brother. BTW, on your homepage, is that a S-3 Viking you're standing in front of? Looks like a school grad pic or something.

I remember seeing those Vikings land on the carrier a lot. I had always heard that they have ejections seats, but you had to blast THROUGH the canopy...yikes.

hey buddy, Im up in goodrich, hoping to buy this sweet ride, 50/50 chance I can get it. Ive got a few hurdles as well as alot of vette lovers that can just push a button and do it. but who knows? dave [cali is a class act] is the kind of vette owner i would have no problem buying a vette from.
