Default FS 1976 Corvette coupe $12,000 OBO [CA]

A lot of work has been put into this car, and it's in great shape. I'd been thinking about rebuilding, even replacing the engine and transmission in the near future. But my mechanic urged me to keep the originals since they're still in such good condition.

The car has been in the family for 16 years now, and I hate to see it go. But I just don't drive it much anymore, and I need the garage space. More photos available. Thanks.

-what color was it originally?

-did you do the front gill change or was that from a prior owner?

The car has always been black since it's been with my family. It was already black when we bought it in 1992. And we had it re-painted in 2000. I believe the original color was blue.

A previous owner made the gill change. I'd considered returning the car to the original look, but it seemed an unnecessary expense. I like these vents.

Thanks.

In response to a question I received through my Craigslist ad... yes, I'll definitely take care of the smog check for anyone who's interested in buying my car.

Default FS 1976 Corvette coupe, lots of work done, $12,000 NEGOTIABLE [CA]

Several people have contacted me through my Craigslist ad with the same question about my asking price, so I'd like to answer here as well... yes, the price is definitely negotiable. I simply priced the car what I honestly think it's worth. But I'm willing to talk about it, and I'll consider all reasonable offers. Thanks.
