1970 Corvette Roadster LS1-T56 (WA)
1970 Corvette hard top roadster $22000
Twelve years ago I bought this car to be my fun cruiser. In the search for more power, more fuel economy and more fun, I have tastefully modified it over the years. So if you are looking for a numbers matching car with the original air in the old bias plys and the original hose clamps, then this isn't the car for you.
But if you are seeking a classic, fun, fast cruiser capable of 25+ MPG and able to take down a newer mustang or camaro on the street, then this just may be your next ride.
You won't find all the annoying creature comforts our society has come to demand. This car was built with the spirit of a classic sports car. Shift through all 6 gears when you want to, not when an auto trans thinks you should. Feel the road like you should with the tight manual steering. Hate those squishy power brakes found on other vintage cars? Me too. This car has rotors, calipers and master cylinder from a 2002 Corvette properly setup for manual operation. Has great pedal feel. No annoying radio to take away from the beautiful simplicity of the interior. Besides you'll want to hear the thunder of the classic chambered exhaust. No A/C either. Come on, this is a convertible. If you get a little hot, just drive faster and feel the wind in your hair.
I have the CLEAR WA title in hand. Car has a WA assigned VIN and was a theft recovery from the 70's. The pictures below were taken last summer at the Good Guys show in Puyallup.
Please PM me for more details.

Met a lot of great people this weekend. I'll leave it on the market for the next week or so to see what happens. If it doesn't sell, I'll wait until the weather gets better.

Hey Jeff,
Great chatting with you on the weekend, thanks for your time. The car sure sounds awesome!
I'll let you know what the pencil pushers in Oz tell me :-)
Cheers,
Mark
