1980 DUNTOV TURBO CONVERTIBLE (4 of 32) FOR SALE!!!!!
Description:
This is one of the rarest Corvettes ever made! Only 86 were produced in 1980 from which only 32 had a Duntov Serial Number. This car is Number 4 of 32 with serial number. Those Vettes were new in 1980 between $37800 (with no options) to $55000. That was more than most Ferraris cost in 1980!!!
Condition:
The car is inside and outside in great condition! The paint is very shiny and smooth, the interior is in very nice condition too! This car has only been driven approx. 5000 miles/year. The Vette runs and drives excellent too. The only things that I can think of that are not working are: The power door locks and the heater control. The A/C blows cold, but only from below. I think that replacing the heater/A/C control unit (approx. $150) should take care of that problem. The car has following options: Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, A/C, Digital Center Gauges, Cruise Control..
The car seems to be at least 95% original! The only thing that is missing is the Turbo Charger the car came with... 80 Duntov Turbos with the Turbo charger sell for around $40k
I am asking only $19500!!!!!!

Someone took the turbocharger off during the years! I called American Custom Industries and they told me that the
company that manufactored the turbocharger for this car (Turbo International) went bancrupt in 1980. In 1981 when
they built a second series of Duntov Turbo Corvettes, they actually bought the parts and built the turbo themselves....
am sure that there are some of those turbochargers out there, but they are hard to find!
