I always look here and try to make the deal with forum members before i´ll go to fleebay. It atleast feel safer to deal with older forummembers.

Have bought 3- C3 vettes and by far the most honest seller was the deal with the forum-member. The 2 others from fleebay was more or less a dissapointment.

Good Luck with the sale !

Bud... you came here knowing that people who know about Corvettes would likely point out & critique the one you have posted for sale. Especially in that condition. Just take the feedback and use it to your advantage. You perceive the feedback as negative, but it's not. They are positive ideas with examples why. You're just reading them backwards.

Good luck.

If it were closer to home, and I could figure out how to reverse all that has been done to it without breaking the bank, I would consider it. The automatic really hurts it for me. Be patient, someone will rescue it.

Definitely kill the picture in the garage with the stains all over the floor. A potential buyer's first thought is going to be "What's leaking?"

"Ok no bites at 6900 lets drop it to 6499 now that is the price to take it home."

Your current bid is higher than your asking price. Take the money and run.

It's a 70 in case you didn't read the original post.
If you're into modded vettes, then have it checked out.

what is the deal here this is a true 1970 convertible. $3000 you can put the original front clip back on and sell the other. It runs and drives. I hope the guys on here are for real instead of a bunch of tire kickers and picture collectors

You should contact those three eBay bidders that were at 6K and above.

I hate to say this but you vette is not that desirable because of the mods, and the current economic climate. Modded vettes scare people away most of the time, regardless of the price. Modded cars of any kind are done to the modders tastes only without any thought about selling it at some point. I just sold mine and it took 8 months to finally sell my 70, unmodified. I had two deals fall through because of the economy.
You'll need to be patient to find a buyer who's willing to redo the entire body, or outright loves the way it looks now. I wish you well.
Good luck, Glenn

I don't understand.. just re-list it on ebay for your lowered reserve.. it had 4 bidders above your current asking price.
