73 (?) heads up, maybe 4 sale. illinois
Since I am a semi , over the road driver, I see lots of vettes, in all shapes, sitting , all lonely and forlorn. I have decided to post some of them, just in case someone..whatever. I usually can only drive by, being to difficult to find a place to pull a 80,000 pound, 65 foot rig over.
Its a gold, 73 ( only saw chrome in back and I bELIEVE) a rubber front. Looked like it has been setting awhile, as dirt, dust and leaves were setting just before the rear spoiler. The paint looked to be somewhat sun faded as well. The only damage I noticed (remember, this is about a 4 second look) was a small piece of fiberglass missing/broken near the right exhaust tailpipe. maybe hand sized. maybe smaller. The car is located off exit 66, I 39. Maybe 3/4 of a mile to the west of the interstate..just past the railroad tracks, sitting in the side yard of a house...near the road...cant miss it.Name of the town (sign said 250 folks live there) is Troy something or another. Worth the roadtrip if you live close. good huntiing...oh, there wasnt a for sale sign or anything, but it sure looked orphaned. oh, wasnt a vert.

I was in the car & truck salvage in a little town in Texas, When I went up to buy these kind of cars, I found the owner's were Lonely. They didn't sell the cars, because it was a draw for people to come up and talk to them. What ever floats your boat. Have a great one. Gene
