WTT: Harley Street Glide for C3
Hello,
I had my Harley sold and the buyer just backed out. I was selling it to be able to purchase a Corvette (C3). So maybe I can work out a trade arrangement with someone on here and trade for a nice C3 Vette.
My bike: 2008 Harley Davidson Street Glide (FLHX) Anniversary Edition. Kelly Blue book value of $18,500 but average selling price on eBay and CraigsList is closer to $16,500. Excellent condition! It has never been involved in an accident and has never been down. It has 21,600+ miles. 96 cubic inches (1550 cc), 6 speed transmission, 6 gallon fuel tank, am/fm/cd player, Harley oil temp guage installed, synthetic oil, synthetic primary and transmission fluids. Super comfortable ride, gets about 40-45 mpg. The only flaw is one small ding in the front fender from a rock strike.
Wanted to trade for: 1968-1981 Corvette in nice condition. I'm not looking for a show car but a nice daily driver. Prefer less than 75K miles. Strong running motor and good transmission (auto or 4 spd). I don't mind some flaws, just don't want to get into a project that will cost me thousands. Mechanical condition is more important to me than than color but the paint should be sound (some scratches, chips ok).
I'm located in Lewes, Delaware 19958. If you are interested shoot me an email at: mayhorn@comcast.net
