Default F/S 1974 L-82 4 speed coupe $5,500

I hate to do it but I need to sell my 1974 L-82 4 speed coupe.Options are P/S P/B P/W Hurst shifter. I have installed most of a new interior, new gas tank, new heater core, all new brakes including M/C, Rotors, SS calipers, SS parking brakes, hard and rubber lines. MSD tach drive dist and box. Good frame and Bird cage. has working seat belts. Dash has been rebuilt. Will need to have the interior finished and paint work. The previous owner started to sand down the passenger side. I am asking $6,500 or reasonable offer. I need to sell it ASAP. This will make a good winter project for someone.

How road worthy is it in it's current condition? 500 mile trip?

Indiancreek, I wouldn't do it. It hasn't been on the road for about 10 years and I don't know the condition or the U joints or tie rods etc.. Also the new weather stripping is still in the box and not yet installed. I always trailer a car when I buy it just to be safe.

Are those the latest pics you have posted? If it was in a little bit better driving condition I would be interested...just a little bit more work than I want to do right now

dose11, It could be driven with about 10 hours work. The drive train is intact and the brakes are all new. The interior is mostly done. Yes it will take some work but it's a good price for a numbers matching L-82 4 speed.

I'm tempted, can you get a few pics of the normal rust areas?

Just sold my '75 coupe so I have cash for another Vette. Been looking for a manual shift L82. Does the car run? Would it make it to eastern NC? I'd like to see some pics of the whole car in the daylight if you have them. You can email me if you like at hcrawfordjr@nc.rr.com. I'm definitely purchasing another C3 Vette before January 2012.

Todd, Thanks for the offer but I think that it's worth more than that as a parts car.
