Saturday bump for someone who has helped me on many occasions on my 79. I could never buy it, I'd HAVE to drive it, lol. Good luck on the sale!

I've seen these low mile Pace Cars do well at the famous classic car auctions.
I know Mecum lets you place a reserve on it to protect yourself.

I think your buying audience is pretty limited to perhaps a museum or large collection. Those buyers are at those large auctions.

Sweet car. Pics are a must for someone to see the condition of the actual car being sold. Nice job.

Big fan of your car. What are some of the issues, things you have addressed, for sitting so long?

Sorry, haven't been back to my thread in a while.

Like I mentioned previously I've gone over the motor, detailing it and new gaskets. The oil pan gaskets especially were leaking, totally flattened out. Little seepage from the valve covers too, but everything else was tight but still got new gaskets too(timing cover/front seal, intake, water pump).
Two original calipers started leaking right after I bought it. Flushed the brake system and crud came out. Had all four sleeved and rebuilt by Muskegon Brakes. System has been flushed twice since then to keep things fresh.
Changed trans fluid and pan gasket.
AC compressor needed the 2 large case O-rings and front seal. Fresh R 12 charge.
Power antenna needed the nylon cable replaced. That's an age thing.
Tires look great but obviously only for show.
Hoses original but look and feel good. Gave them all a real good inspection when I did the detailing.
Started and run up to temperature at least once a month during the driving season and driven around inside the barn
I run it completely out of gas(on purpose!)at least once a summer and add fresh. I only ever keep a few gallons in it. No Stabil ever used.
This is a Vette that was never just parked and forgotten like some you hear about.
