F/S 1970 Corvette Coupe 350/4 speed N.O.M.
Hello all,
I've decide to part with my 1970 Corvette. If you have any questions or requests feel free to message me. I will try to be as detailed as I can be but I'm no expert. I live in Bangor Maine for anyone whos interested in the car.
I will link my photobucket account at the bottom for everyone to view the pictures I currently have.
The Vette is black with a black interior and has the luggage rack.
As fas as i know it is an original small block L46 350, 4 speed car. The color was originally Bridgehampton blue with a black interior per the trim tag. Roll up windows, No A/C. T-Top coupe. Power Steering, Manual brakes.
The L46 350 was swapped with another 1970 350 at some point before I owned it. It is still wearing the original L46 Intake, exhaust manifolds, tach drive distributor ect.. I have all the current engine numbers
Engine #102139985 k06 09 CNV (1970 350 built in Ontario June 9th)
Block # 3970010 (350)
Intake # 3965577 (L46)
Heads # 3970126 (350)
The motor runs strong and does not smoke. It has an aftermarket camshaft that was installed by a previous owner (unsure of the grind) and is still wearing exhaust manifolds. It is a mild and dependable small block. It has a quadrajet carb on it that has a remanufactured tag. Tall valve covers.
A short list of recent work that has been put into the car;
Brand new (not rebuilt) Van Steel loaded trailing arms with new rear brakes and bearings. Stainless shim kit
New front brakes (rotors and pads)
A complete stage 5 Ecklers handling kit including:
-Over sized front and rear sway bars with polyurethane bushings & end links.
-Bilstein shocks on all four corners
-550 lb gymkhana front springs.
-Polyurethane bushings in the front control arms
-Adjustable Smart Struts in the rear
-VBP 300 # composite mono leaf
Hurst competition plus shifter shifter
new factory appearing T-shift handle from Ecklers
VBP Spreader bar in the front. (not yet installed)
Flowmasters
New battery, plugs, tie rods, fuel lines, transmission and rear end mounts. ect
The calipers were replaced by the previous owner
The rear was upgraded to 3:55's and i have the reciepts
The Vette also comes with a cover, the original air cleaner bottom (the top chrome cover is MIA), the original front springs, rear spring and front sway bar. Haynes manual, Owners Manual, and a few other vette books. T-top bags
The interior is in good shape and does not appear to be missing any pieces. The tachometer is correct for an L46 car. The mileage shows around 54,000 and i believe that it may be correct (when i changed the front brakes the shop had to drill the rivets)
This Vette is a driver. The paint is not perfect and should be redone at some point, it looks like it was a cheap job. It shows some stress cracks in the front fender areas on the top but nothing that appears to serious.
The tires are okay 245/60/15's but the tread is low and should be replaced soon. The weather stripping needs to be replaced. The headlights work fine. The wiper door has to be opened manually and i havent even looked at it yet. The wipers do work. The frame is in good condition. The Vette is registerd and insured. I drove it this morning with no problems

These pictures were taken this April and May if anyone was wondering.

New pictures are up of the interior and engine compartment for those who were interested.
Also, I called Ecklers today and spoke to customer service about the height of the new composite spring. They are sending me a new VBP 300# Spring to swap for the 330# Hyperco that is in the car now. The ride height should be on its way back to to normal
Thanks guys. Feel free to message me.

Hello all,
The car is still for sale for those who were interested. My last buyer did not show up with the cash. The VBP spring has been installed and she sits perfect! I've also had new brake lines installed on the drivers side as well. Any question, comments, or offers just shoot me an email or a call.
I've attached a few picks from this weekend as well to show that the new ride height is back to normal
$12,500
Thanks!

The Luggage rack is still on the car. I take it off periodically and use rubber plugs in the holes. I'm not a huge fan of the rack look
I've done some digging and found previous owners in Maine but I haven't had any luck tracing the cars original origins.
The frame is solid and it looks like it had had a patch in the typical spot behind the drivers door. The birdcage and door sills, floorboards all appear to be in good shape but I've never disassembled it further
There is rust in the top corner of the windshield frame (typical) but I have not had any problems with leaking ect..
Not a perfect but a nice driver for a 70
Anyone is more than welcome to come and take a look at the car in person

15K would be great but I thought it would sell faster this way. I've tried to be as fair as I can with the price but I can't justify going any lower. It's still a fun ride, I'd hate to see it go to storage this winter

Thanks, I took the tint off of the car and just had the Hurst installed. Still a nice Vette to drive, just wont have the space this winter. The worse that can happen is it doesn't sell and i have to keep it.....Oh No!
