Originally assembled on March 19, 1982, this 1982 Corvette Collector Edition shows just 22,129 original miles (documented by a 2009 title), and is in near showroom condition with a clean Carfax. This car's paint is in very good condition, showing a brilliant, mile-deep shine. Decals are in very good to excellent condition with no apparent fading or wear, and the glass t-tops are in very good to excellent condition with no cracks and soft perimeter trim. With the exception of these t-tops, all exterior glass on this car shows a correct date code. Exterior door handles are in very good to excellent condition with no rubbing issues, and the taillights are in very good condition with no cracks. Weatherstripping looks to be original, and is in overall good condition. Factory Collector Edition-specific wheels are in very good to excellent condition with no clearcoat issues or fading, and wear premium Goodyear Eagle GTII raised white letter tires, showing an average of 7/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1982 Corvette Collector Edition shows very good condition leather seat covers, which appear to be original. Steering wheel looks to be original, and is tight and in very good condition. Gauges are in very good to excellent condition with no fading and clear lenses. GM seatbelts are in very good to excellent condition with no apparent stains or worn spots. Dash pad is in very good condition, with no cracks or waves. Correct Collector Edition-specific carpet is in very good to excellent condition with no apparent wear, and the original door panels are in very good condition with no tears, and no cracks at the top, which are usually typical on original Collector Edition door panels. Center console is in very good condition as well, with no significant wear to speak of, and the correct original AM/FM/Cassette stereo is still in place. Rear storage bins are in very good to excellent condition with no cracks. Passenger's visor mirror is completely intact, which we have only seen on a few 1978-82 cars; keep in mind that while this part was being reproduced, it has recently been discontinued, so finding a replacement for a car that doesn't have one in this condition is now going to be very difficult! The numbers matching engine in this 1982 Corvette Collector Edition shows casting date March 5, 1982, and final assembly date March 10, 1982. This engine compartment is extremely clean, well-detailed, and very correct. Ignition shielding, air pump, and correct hoses and a/c compressor are all in place, along with correct air cleaner assembly/Crossfire setup, and a working hood light. Frame is clean, solid, and rust-free. Included with this car will be an indoor cover, Hayne's repair manual, Helm's factory service manual, t-top bags, and a polished front license plate with C4 style "Corvette" script. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
