FS: 1970 LS5 454 Convertible $39,500
Selling my 1970 Corvette LS5 454 convertible. New Lower Price of $39,500 is Firm. I am getting married May 27th here in Florida so if the car sells by then, great, and if not, we will most likely keep it, since it is such a great driver.
This car is incredibly original, with only one repaint ever, newer soft top, newer tires, and everything else is original. With only 59,000 miles on it, it looks almost new, and drives like a new car. The exterior color is Donnybrooke Green, with a Green vinyl interior.
The engine is the LS5, 454 cubic inch motor, with 390 hp, and 500 lbs of Torque, along with a TH400 automatic transmission. It also has P/S, P/B, AM/FM stereo, 2.73 Posi Rear, white soft top, and only 59,000 documented miles. This car drives great, and cruises nice on the highway with the 2.73 rear differential.
The drive train is 100% original, and matching #s. The engine, transmission, rear end, carburetor, alternator, etc., are all 100% original, matching #s, and date correct. In other words, these parts all came with the car in 1970. Look at the photos here, and you can see the part #s and date codes of all of the important parts of this Survivor, with correct Explanations of the Codes and Dates. Please see this link to view all 24 photos: http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/...e/1627304.html
The paint is in 9 condition, and was repainted once. The complete interior is 100% original, and in 9+ condition. The seat belts look like they are brand new, and are original dated for this car. The frame is rust free, as the car has always sat in garages, or one previous owner kept it in his living room.
This Corvette is Fully Documented with the ORIGINAL Tank Sticker, Protecto Plate/Warranty Booklet, Window Sticker/Dealer Invoice, and Owners Manual. The Tank Sticker has been Validated as Authentic by the NCRS as well. This car is a Time Capsule of a 1970 big block Corvette.
This car needs nothing, to be enjoyed by a new owner. It runs great, the motor is strong, and the headlight doors and wiper door open and close perfectly.
My price is $39,500 obo , so if you want to buy this car, come on down to FL and take a look and test drive. You will not be disappointed.
If you would like more information about my car, please feel free to contact me by email, or calls between 9am and 9pm EST.

I think the market is headed your way. $39,500 barely buys a C2 tired driver, and I'd much rather have this, with all the numbers and paperwork. Cars like yours are a great buy right now, IMO.

Priced right. They just aren't selling very good right now. IMO. Don't know why. I have one for sale for $35K and can't sell it!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE. Don't give it away. I am upping my price if it doesn't sell at the Carlisle, Pa. event Aug. 21-24th. CONGRATS ON THE MARRAGE- communication and total honesty are the key to a good one.
