1978 Pace Car For Sale Priced $19,750
FOR SALE
[SIZE="3"]1978 CORVETTE PACE CAR
[SIZE="2"]OPTIONS: L82 ENGINE, Gymkhana Suspension, Cruise Control, Auto Transmission
Mileage 17,273 (Believed to be Actual based upon judging at Bloomington Gold June 2012 by judges).
Awarded the Finger Print Level "Outstanding Preservation Award" which means the car was over 75% unrestored at Bloomington Gold in June 2012.
Paint in very good condition - front bumper has some spider web cracking and small paint chip.
I purchased the car in June 2011 and have driven it less than 2,000 miles and have decided to sell since I don't get a chance to drive it enough after the purchase of a 2013 Grand Sport.
Since I purchased the car I've repaired / replaced the following:
New BF Goodrich tires w/ less than 250 miles.
Replace heater core
Replace oil pan gasket
Replace valve springs
Replace pinion shaft seal
Replace timing chain
Charge AC system
Replace engine motor mounts
Carburetor overhaul
Replace idler arm
Replace valve cover gaskets
Replace control arm bushings
Replace upper & lower radiator hoses
Replaced clock w/ quartz style
Replaced power steering pulley and belt
Replace rear strut rods
New front & rear brake pads
Also included:
Lots of documentation including: original build sheet, reproduction window sticker, original owners manual, original paperwork for Goodyear tires, Delco Freedom battery, 1978 Passenger Maintenance Schedule and Federal Consumer Information on 1978 New Cars, etc.
