Hi Bruno,
I remember this car from when you posted about buying it.
Perhaps you could add a link to that original thread with the many pictures in it to give buyers an idea of what this car is like.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Hi All,
Alan suggested I post the thread when I was looking to purchase the car. Here it is:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...tible-lt1.html
The reasons I'm selling the car:
1. I have enjoyed researching the car and have had some nice runs in it, but it's not a great car to have in the city of Toronto (stop and go traffic, hot humid summers and no air)
2. I would like to replace it with a Ferrari Mondial 3.2 or T cabriolet. Having 2 boys aged 10 and 12, I'd prefer a 4 seater. I would be happy to trade if anyone on the Forum has one.
3. I like to buy and sell cars for the shear joy of it. I've had 9 classic cars to date. Unfortunately, I don't make money with it!

Hello all,
I've had pm's asking if the price is firm. I am certainly open to reasonable offers. I am motivated to sell the car due to my desire to purchase a Mondial cab.
Thanks,
Bruno

Hi Bruno,
Always wanted an LT1 just like yours.
It would look great beside my 70 L46 coupe. Send additional pics to dpiccone@rogers.com
Thanks Domenic

The timing is killing me!
I sold my '71 LT-1 a decade ago and would like another one in nice driver condition like this, and your car is in my all-time favorite color combination.
I have a couple pending financial things that are keeping me from looking into this further for a few weeks, but I'll keep a close eye on this thread...

Hello Bruno; unfortunately, I just moved from Toronto to the Ottawa area on May 1st; I would have really liked to see this beauty in person. I don't expect the car to be around; however, I will be in Toronto from June 4th to June 8th; I have a condo there a 9-iron from the Rogers Centre. If not sold, I will come for a look.

Hello Group,
Here is more info about the numbers. See numbers and excerpts from 1970-72 Corvette Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide.
Intake Manifold:
"350 intake manifolds are cast iron with the exception of the LT1 which is aluminum....Aluminum intake manifolds have their casting date codes on the underside and cannot be judged."
Number 3972110
Cylinder Heads:
"Cylinder heads 3973414 (LT1) are specified for 1970 and may or may not have been used in production...." "On 350 heads, the drivers side casting number can be seen if the oil cap is removed. (on LT1's, the push rod guide plates are also visible). Casting numbers and dates for ANY engine are not judged."
The number is 399 492 A 11 7. This was a common number (see link below). The push-rod guide plates are clearly visible.
Here is a link to Corvette Forum - see section on cylinder head casting numbers:
