Lyle,
If you are able to send me a PM or e-mail via the forum with your preferred method of contact, I would like to talk to you about your '75.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
Todd

Tap on LYLE's name in his avatar. That is a link to his profile page.
You will get a drop down menu. On there is an option for sending him a private message. This is the easiest of several ways to go about sending a PM.

Fortunately, Lyle was kind enough to send me a PM this morning.
Again, thank you for your help.

I had the opportunity to look at and drive Lyle's '75 last weekend and thought that I would share some of my observations.
The new silver paint shows beautifully and I did not detect any imperfections in either the paint or the body. The white top looks to be brand new and in my opinion, is the right color choice to set off the silver body. And I agree with some of the other comments that the red interior is also the right color combination.
The underneath of the car showed well and I did not notice any leaking or dripping. The engine compartment looked tidy.
The car started right up, moved down the road well and shifted without any issues. Lyle and I took it on a good long drive and there were no issues or problems at any time. Headlights popped right up and closed just like they are supposed to.
I think this is a good, honest car as Lyle has described (in his post and over the phone) and based on the latest Haggerty values, I think Lyle has this priced right. Someone looking for a nice 4 speed convertible should consider this.
I ultimately decided that I prefer the T-top cars with automatic transmission for cruising around town so I didn't buy the car. But that is purely a function of my preferences and not the condition of the car.
Finally, Lyle was very kind with his time, knows a bunch about Corvettes and was a real pleasure to work with. The kind of person you would want to buy a car from.

Beautiful car, my first Vette was a 75 same color combination but a coupe.
