F/S: "STUNNING" 1972 Multiple NCRS Top Flight LT1 Convertible

Lt1 For Sale
Well here is my two cents on the C2 & C3 debate that has been discussed in my original thread (I own several of both cars in my private collection therefore I know a thing or two about each). I own several NCRS rotisserie restored Top Flighted C2's and several rotisserie restored Top Flighted C3's and I can honestly say I like the C3's considerably better. All of my C3's are Big Block and LT1 cars (I had four LT1's but sold two over the past few years) and they are truely unbelievable cars. I do like the look of my C2's although I think they drive like dump trucks compared to the C3's. I understand it is all based on personal preference, however if you want a really nice driving/performing Corvette, the 1970-72 LT1's are a great place to look. I have to agree, these are the next car to appreciate in value due to the limited production numbers.

Having owned most all the various 327 small blocks and the various versions of the 427 in the C2 line- up I have to say the most thrilling and fun to drive car is none of the above. It's the LT-1. For over 10 years I owned a bone stock, low mileage '70 LT-1 convertible and it was a rocket ship. The car had a feel that it just wanted to keep leaping out ahead. I also owned a '71 LT-1 coupe. Basically just as thrilling. Donnybrook Green and BrandsHatch Green.
So if anyone is thinking about buying an LT-1 who hasn't ever driven or owned one, this gentlemans '72 is a terrific example. Drive one and you are hooked.
Again, GLWS.

From a fellow Elkhart green LT-! Owner, that's one drop dead gorgeous car you have.
Good luck with the sale...someone is going to get a jewel.

Thank you for your inquiry pertaining to my 1972 LT1 Convertible that I have for sale on the Corvette Forum. In response to your question, yes I still have the car available, I have received two offers from fellow Corvette Members however just not where I need to be on price to justify selling it, that being said I have the car priced for what most sellers are asking for their coupes and this car is an outstanding example of an LT1 convertible. Additionally, I would also encourage you to read thru all the comments pertaining to my LT1 from all the "Corvette Guru's" that troll the Corvette Forum, although the car does speak for itself. As my ad states, the car is ready to drive, show or judge immediately and needs absolutely nothing. Lastly, I am located in Upstate NY around Buffalo, it appears you are on the West Coast so that may create a potential hurdle for you. I have owned the car for a few years and currently have it stored in my climate controlled warehouse along with the rest of my private collection. I can provide whatever additional photos you may require in order to do your due diligence on a potential purchase, I can also make myself available anytime to host yourself or a third party to come and inspect the car. Thanks again for your inquiry and I look forward to speaking with you over the next few weeks.
Regards;
Scott

I bought another LT-1 from Scott three months ago. It's now with me in the UK and whilst I have issues caused by the shipper and the journey it's been on, the car is exactly as described by Scott and is a real stunner. It even arrived with some unmentioned items which is a real bonus with these special cars.
Thanks Scott and good luck with the sale of this one.
I did mention it to the wife unit and just got a withering look

Yes, if my car was an "A/C" LT1 convertible it would be priced considerably higher. That being said, I have had two offers on the car from fellow CF Members, just not quite where I need or should be on their offers therefore the car is still available. Come on guys, take a look at the latest LT1 Buyers Guides and you will realize the value this car represents at this price point. These LT1 convertibles are highly collectible and getting very difficult to find anymore.

I Wonder, why that beauty is still on the market?!
Unfortunately the USD has risen so much and I am not searching for such a perfect LT-1
Good luck

What's so cool about the color combination is its same as one of my cars from the past and of a completely different marque.
I love it when you guys comment. Because then I get a notification to look at this beautiful car again

What is the difference between the LTI that makes it so much more Unbelievable? It sounds like it has to be EXTENSIVE difference between an LTI and an L-82
