1980 Corvette L82 Black on Black
Up for sale is a 1980 L82 Corvette with the Chevy 350 motor, automatic TH350 transmission, and the Gymkhana FE7 Heavy Duty Suspension package.
The odometer reads 64,136 miles, the engine runs great, very strong.
It just passed the California smog emissions test about a week ago, I have the certification in hand.
This is a nice Driver Quality Corvette that is ready to be driven.
It has a newer black paint job (about 6 months old), it's Not a "Show Quality" paint job. There is a small blemish on the hood and a few other very small blemishes here and there, please see pictures.
The interior is also black, it's in pretty good condition with nice original front carpet. It has a NEW rear carpet set, the original was sun faded due to the big rear bubble window.
The drivers seat has a few broken seams but nothing big, the passengers is in good shape. The drivers door panel also has some wear in the form of small cracks in the vinyl, only at the top, the passengers is in good condition.
The gauges all work with the exception of the clock, there is no radio. The inside t-top panels have vinyl that is starting to separate, they should be re-glued or replaced.
I just put in NEW t-top weatherstrip seals, and all of the other weatherstrip seals are in good shape.
The engine runs very good, it's strong with plenty of power, it has its original dual snorkel air cleaner and Rochester 4 barrel carburetor.
It has A/C but it needs to be serviced.
The original TH350 has been rebuilt.
It has ALL NEW brake components, including refurbished calipers, drilled and slotted rotors, hard lines, hoses, booster and master cylinder.
The fuel lines are also all NEW.
The suspension has been all rebuilt, it also has all NEW steering components.
It has the original slotted 15x8 aluminum alloy wheels in great condition with NEW tires.

This is a very good running Vette that is ready to be driven by someone who appreciates these cars. The interior will need some door panels, seat covers, and t-top panels to make it look great. Please PM me for questions. Car is located in Livermore, CA

Hi,
The VIN reads 1z876AS425103. 5th digit is [6], implying that it is indeed a true L82 car. As for the emblems, I looked at images of other L82 1980 cars, and they all seemed to be in the right spot. Granted, I don't buy into the whole NCRS-correctness so it maybe an inch or two off... LOL

Update: Has glass t-tops!
I am a motivated seller. I still have the Black L82, and I removed the old fiberglass T-tops and replaced them with glass tops!
