I have a nice 72 corvette convertible matching # 350 automatic it has power everything , it doesn't have AC and the color is dark silver metallic but I'm only asking $18 so you have plenty of room to paint it the way you want and add an AC system and still be under your budget. Please let me know thx

Odd ! I never knew anyone to put green at the top of their list . You should be able to get a great price if you find one. I've owned three green Corvettes in the past that I repainted a different color.

I've been two days to a week late on a couple of cars that would have been perfect. The car is actually for my brother. As I know more about these cars than he does, I'm helping him with the search.

Black is good too, even a color changes is fine.

Sounds like that's exactly what I'll have... six months from now. I'm working on a '68 convertible, auto with goal of making it an extremely nice driver. Body is coming off this weekend. The car was going to be a keeper, but will probably end up for sale.
With cars, it's all about the timing... I'm sure you'll find a great one if you're patient and hold out for the right one. Good luck!

Your brother has a lot of beautiful cars to choose from, he just needs to be a little patient to find them, but they are out there. They may well be hiding under another color like many of the orange cars are. Guys cover the original color because they often want red. More red Corvettes exist today than were ever built originally, or so I hear. Make sure to check the build plate for colors and target the red cars, they may be hiding a green under their skin.

I am partial to the 71 Green, e.g. Brands Hatch Green, but the British Green, Fathom Green, Donnybrooke Green, and Elkhart Green are all nice as well.

I'll keep my eyes open on his punch list of needs for the car and see if we can help you and him locate one.

Good luck with your search and best regards,

David Howard

You should be able to find a nice car that fits your criteria. Good luck with your search. Let people know where you are located as well when you get a chance, it will help them in locating a car for you.

Seems like this would fit the bill perfectly if you're considering a coupe. Wish I had the $$...

Also, I just ran across the ad and have nothing to do with the car or sale. Just thought of you.

Thank you for this post. Gray is not a color choice but this sure looks like a nice car. I'm going to keep an eye on this one!
