56k miles
Auto, silver int, metallic charcoal ext (painted in 2007)
383 Cubic Stroker Engine (have original motor bad camshaft) 2007 engine replacement, 25k miles.
Tranny rebuilt 2 years ago, good tires & brakes. Interior good shape, U-joints 20k miles. Stored winters. Not even driven 500 miles previous years. Purchased in 2007, (second owner). First year Bowling Green car (copy of window sticker).

Looks like the 81 Corvette Charcoal Metallic redone using modern clearcoat vs single stage. If that is what was done I think it looks really good in person (assuming a quality paint job).

It's is an original color for 81. And if it's a Bowling Green build then it is suposed to be base coat clearcoat on a repaint. June 1st 1981 startup in KY all were bc/cc . That's virtually identical to the first corvette I drove when I was 16. A brand new 81 charcoal with black interior. That's a nice one, brings back memories. I'd consider selling my 80 for that one.

The head light assemblies operate just as they did before the swap (no problem). AC will need a recharge, the compressor was replaced when the motor was replaced. I'm not sure of the gear ratio in the differential, but will check and get back to you.
