My other post in your thread wasnt suggesting you swap but from others replies i got the impression some do not like the flip clip as we do so i was giving them an option,

those that see how nice the flip front end and how much it simplifies the car by eliminating all the flip up headlights will appreciate the design

saves weight, eliminates complexity, and gives the front end a smooth clean look.

all the white stripes are plasti dip

If you are interested in a cool looking 68 vette that fires up everytime and drives nice for a good price this may be the car for you

needs:
interior work and gauges gas gauge broke, speedo and tach (has a sun tach on column that works) oil pressure, clock, and temp gauge good

seats are good but carpet is worn, needs door panels, dash good

exterior the strips are "plastidip" and there is a small ding on the flip front end that was fixed OK, *bumper bent in and cracked glass* car has presentable paint with chips and cracks in spots, but overall body is solid

very nice frame, birdcage, fresh bushings, brakes, car is a driver

OK, NO BS 9500 going back on ebay with a 10500 reserve

I need to move this car. I also have some pretty outrageous power plants if you want to go fast 496 BB crate engine, OBX side pipes, 480LE 4 spd auto, and some nice dress up parts

This engine spanks out 569 HP and 540 trq mild hyd 540 lift cam, roller rockers, 2 bolt main, scat 4.25 crank and rods, forged pistons, alum square port heads, polished intake, holley 850 DP, alum water pump, pulleys, brackets, new fuel pump. everything needed to install.

Garret t60 turbos, 80 lb injectors, LPE tuned ecm, custom manifolds for c3, front mount intercooler, 799 corvette heads,

I have this short block on the stand, and parts to assemble a complete twin turbo engine. I bought this from a racer who ran 9.20s in a c2 so this WILL be a mover. The engine is capable of over 800 hp, will need the tranny beefed to handle that much, as well as the rear, but you WILL see the world through a screaming face, I have a tt z06 so ask me how I know.

I need 6K for this stuff too. see if you can build 800 hp any cheaper than that!!

bottom line. life happens, need to sell some of this stuff off.

I promised to send you pics, but the car is getting work done on it and gettinga new distributor and tune up for spring (new plugs, wires, distr, ect...)

there is MUCH sweat equity in this car. good luck on your search. You won't find a nice driver in this condition for less $

there are picture collectors, and buyers, call me if serious, I sent you my phone number, another gent wants the car, and he DOES look serious, so if you are truly interested, please contact me.
