1972 Corvette convertible $28.5k obo [NV]
Numbers matching drivetrain 350 and 4 speed Muncie. Original vinyl hard top. Possible Baldwin Motion body work but I have no proof other than the car originated in Long Island. I grew up with original owners daughter. Car has been under sheets in a garage since 79. I have the original engine belt and AC Delco battery and the car was last registered in 79 which leads me to believe the car has an original 26,000 miles. I have the build sheet. I have a parking ticket with the original owners name from the 70s. She runs really well. Originally Ontario Orange but now Steel Cities Grey. Interior is completely original and in good condition. Wheels are not original however I still have the original spare. Mechanically the car was brought back to life by a Counts Custom mechanic. The exhaust is brand new from the engine back. Everything is in working order except the vacuum lines. The car has a clean title.

The guy bought it and lived in Long Island. It had a 427 hood with a black stripe, side pipes, and the firebird tail lights and flares. It could've been a low end build by Motion. I have no documentation and the guy with the Motion paperwork wants $2500 to run the VIN.

This was when I first found her in the guys garage covered in blankets.
We brought her to a shop to get her back on the road. I still have that hood, the mag wheels (only 3) and the side pipes however the pipes were cut off so you would need to weld if you wanted them back on.

Color steel CG
I'm in the market for a 68-72 convert, and a steel cities gray would have been a dream come true (although not an available color in 68).

I'd love to sell you my 72 there may be a chance that the bodywork was completed by Baldwin Motion which would make this car more valuable but I have zero proof.

Sorry
Yea, I was super excited to see this car. But the changes to original body are a killer. I'm closing in on a 68 coupe, a SCG color car would have been awesome!
